Israeli images on the theme of Women and Children

Silver Print is happy to present, both in the gallery and on the website, a selection of Israeli images on the theme of Women and Children from the 19th century to the present. From the tapestry created by viewing 19th century Middle Eastern exoticism and up to the images made by contemporary Israeli photographers, we can sense some of the vast changes that have occurred in our little area. These images stand to enrich photographic collections and collectors.

The gallery is now situated in the lovely artists' village of Ein Hod on the Carmel. We are 20 minutes south of Haifa, a town of Jews, Christians and Moslems. This time of year is the convergence of festivals which Haifa calls the Festival of Lights, hence the name of the sale.

For news of my other activities in recent years, such as writing a major book and curating an end-of-century exhibition, please see the site.

Please send address corrections and email listings to ensure better follow up. And if you have friends interested in photography, be sure to tell them about the site.

May the world be blessed with peace and tranquillity.

Greetings,
